This is a paint study of a stream I often pass by in the forest when I walk my dog. A fresh blanket of snow and some sunlight really makes it stand out.
This is the second acrylic painting I’ve done recently. I find the fumes from oil paint really get to me after a few hours of painting, and it is so much messier to clean up. Acrylic is less textured and creamy, but it can make just as beautiful a painting.
